Easy Music Center is a great music store that has expanded a lot in the last year. They have two large stores - one at 1314 S. King Street, between Piikoi and Keaumoku Streets, and the newest store in Pearl City at 98-425 Kam Hwy. Easy Music Center carries everything from guitars to keyboards to drums to amps to hardware to software. |

Sure Shot Cafe is located in the Makiki Marketplace on Wilder Ave. There's no wireless internet, but you'll find great food, like owner Kiki's cheesecake or my favorite, the granola yogurt fruit bowl. The delicious coffee and relaxed atmosphere makes this a great place to study or spend a lazy Sunday morning. |

The newest coffee shop in town, Glazer's Coffee Shop is located conveniently in the University area at 2700 S. King St. Glazer's is across from Kokua Market and in the same complex as TCBY. The owner, Sang Han, moved to Honolulu from Seattle with the goal of creating a shop with Seattle ambience and great coffee. Glazer's truly does make an extremely smooth latte.Wireless and a friendly atmosphere make this a favorite stop of university students. |

The Well Bento serves amazing, healthy, organic food. Their menu includes everything from grilled salmon, steak, and chicken to vegetarian options like grilled tempeh and seitan, or my favorite, tempeh scallopini. All their dishes come with a healthy, macrobiotic side of vegetables and brown rice. Find Well Bento near university on the second floor at 2570 S Beretania, above the bamboo furniture shop and the Indian food store.
